so it was an INSANE weekend but Oh-so-Awesome!
i loved it. every minute of it.
Friday night was far and by far the Best.
especially during the medley. those songs were powerful. singing it with a 250-strong choir was even more powerful.
and He showed up so amazingly :)

a short journey, but one so amazing, with a path strewn with blessings/

had the most tiring rehearsal tonight but the best one in my opinion :)
so we ended pretty late. almost 11pm and the two sisters still have to work tomorrow. the church we have rehearsals at is located 1. at the end of the green mrt line (pasir ris) and 2. at a pretty ‘ulu’ area of pasir ris where only One bus runs. we waited for a bit and then checked iris to find out when that bus would be arriving- 15minutes. looked at one another and decided it might be faster to try to walk out to the main roads and see if we could get other buses to the mrt station.
we’d only taken less than 10 steps, and were just discussing the possibility of perhaps catching a cab out to the mrt station, when a dark-coloured car pulled up next to us and a middle-aged couple looked out and asked if we wanted a lift out to the mrt station.
it was, in one word that sums it up perfectly, Godsend.
it might seem such a little thing, but to the very tired us with such a long journey home looming ahead and who wanted nothing more than to get home as soon as possible, it was a little miracle.
to the lovely couple who took that extra few minutes of your time to send us out and drop us off: thank you, you are angels :)

again all-out exhausted; a non-stop Sunday going from 8am till 9pm.
but very, very happy and zufrieden :)

today was one exhausting day of neverending singing- diaphragm under-utilized for so long plus body with current zero stamina level is dead tired.
but today, i fell in love again.

i honestly cannot remember the last time i’ve been so happy, so utterly head-over-heels.
i’ve really missed this. missed the fussing over parts, the dancing black beans on stalks, the schadenfreude glee at your section getting to sit down while another has to drill, and of course, most of all, the sound, the Musik produced when all the sections finally get it right and the entire choir comes together to sing it- the ringing harmonies, the blend of over 200 voices- ensemble.
and what’s the Best part about this ensemble?
it’s His.
its going to be one incredible incredible journey, one ride to remember.
and i’m So glad i got to be a part of it :)
